For the past three years, Floriography Studio (formerly Lavender Education) has existed wherever we could find space for it — pop-ups at cafes, museums, markets, and our tiny studio apartment. Along the way, we've watched an incredible community grow around this work.
This September, we're taking our biggest step yet. We're opening our first permanent studio!
This space will be more than an art studio. It will be a place where people gather to create, learn, and connect. It will allow us to expand our creative practice into larger paintings, commissions, installations, and new mediums like cyanotype while also providing a dedicated home for community programming.
Beginning this fall, we'll host regular events including:

Monthly Queer Junk Journal sessions

Hands-on creative workshops

Artist gatherings and community events

Open studio days

New exhibitions and collaborative projects
Our goal is to raise $8,500 to transform an empty studio into a welcoming space for artists, workshops, exhibitions, and community.
Your contribution will help build this space from the ground up and ensure it can serve artists and our community for years to come.
